3 trailer trucks collided into each other on Thursday, resulting in a death of the truck-cleaner (khalasi) at the spot. The mishap occurred at Udaipur-Mount Abu Highway at around 8.15 am.

The deceased victim, Shamboo Singh of Aseen village was standing near his parked trailer truck when the second trailer truck filled with cement parked behind it. The driver of the second truck went for some work. Meanwhile, the third truck came speeding towards the parked trucks and collided resulting in a terrible accident.

The first truck ran over Shamboo Singh who died at the spot and the second truck, rolled over and got electrocuted due to short circuit, as per Bekria Police.

Upon receiving the information, a police team and 2 highway fire brigades reached the accident scene. Though another fire brigade had to be called from Udaipur to stabilize the situation. According to the police, the body of the deceased victim was sent for postmortem and his relatives were informed.
