UPDATE: The deceased have been identified today (11 Nov, 2012) as Devilal (60), resident of Sector-5, Shanti Nagar. He was an Ex CISS Jawan.

A body of an unidentified man was found at Dudhtalai today morning at around 9 am, the body which was lying under the ‘chhatri’ was first noticed by a passerby and later by Ghanta ghar police.

During the initial search of the belongings and cloths of the deceased, police found a receipt of Satellite hospital Ambamata and the name mentioned on it was Devilal. On the basis of receipt, police is considering the dead man as Devi Lal.

“A bottle of liquor, water bottles and some poisonous substance in powdered form was also found, the deceased wore uniform of a private security services, along with a navy blue color jacket”, said police.

Police is also trying to get in touch with security services to identify the deceased. However, the body is shifted to mortuary.
