A dead body of a new born child was found near the mortuary at MB Hospital by locals.

On informing the police, and following investigations, as per information provided by Dalpat Singh, CI, Hathipol Police Station, it was discovered that there had been three new born deaths registered at MB Hospital yesterday.

Further, on contacting the families of three of the new borns, one family belonging to the Gameti Community was not reachable. The remaining two families have confirmed that they have completed the last rites of the still borns.

Police are investigating the matter further.
