An unidentified body of a man was found floating in Lake Pichola today. The body was pulled out by the rescue team and shifted to the mortuary.

Ghanta Ghar Police reached at Jal Bhurj area after receiving information of a dead body being seen trapped in bushes under lake. The body is presumed to be 10-12 days old as it is completely decayed.

According to the sources, some passersby noticed foul smell from the area, upon checking, a body of a man was seen floating upside-down. Subsequently police was informed about the mishap.

The deceased was wearing stripe shirt and black jeans. The team of rescue divers was called to pull out the body from the lake.
