An empty piece of land engulfed into flames, when the dry grass and bushes caught sudden fire. No casualties were reported in the mishap, but due to intense fire two fire extinguisher vehicles responded on the scene.

The incident took place today afternoon at an empty land situated opposite to Hanuman Temple, court chouraha. Few people informed fire brigade after noticing flames coming out from the bushes.

According to sources, the land is around 2000 sq. ft. and covered with bushes. The cause of fire is unclear, but it is presumed that lighted cigarette thrown by somebody ignited the fire.
