A house at Bhopalpura was caught into flames while the family members were out on Sunday evening; loss of lakhs of rupees was reported in the incident perhaps caused due to short circuit.

According to the sources, the first floor of Jawahal Lal Sindhi’s house located near Maharashtra Bhavan, Bhopalpura was engulfed into flames. Jawaharlal and his family were out of the house that time but his father who was staying on ground floor first noticed the flame and immediately informed Jawaharlal.

Meanwhile the neighbors informed fire brigade but the flames burnt all household goods, furniture, electric appliances.

Three vehicles of fire fighters responded to the scene and controlled the situation. The short circuit is supposed to be the reason of fire.

Jawaharlal owns Optical Shop at Bhopalpura area.
