Fire at chemical factory, no injuries
A fire erupted last night in a closed chemical factory at Bhichadi area, near Debari. Six vehicles of fire brigade department rushed to the scene to control the fire.

The rescue operation continued several hours, but few of the sacks containing Sulphur kept on burning for hours later. No fatal injuries were reported from the incidence.
According to sources, a chemical factory, Hindustan Agro Pvt. Ltd has been closed for a long time in the area. Because of closure, wild flora grew inside the campus and possibly the friction amongst those bushes led to fire due to hot temperature on Tuesday night.
A team of fire brigade rushed to the scene and put it off, but on Wednesday morning the bushes caught fire again and later the bags of Sulphur caught fire, making the situation critical.
Soon, 4 fire brigades of Nagar Nigam, 1 from Hindustan Zinc ltd. and 1 fire brigade from Airport rushed to the scene, as per Fatah Singh, Fire Officer. A team of Pratap Nagar Police also rushed to the scene.
