A vehicle of fire brigade responded after a small fire erupted at an empty plot at Choti Pipli area of University Road. No loss of life or property was reported and the fire was controlled within few minutes.

According to locals of the area, the empty plot has become a place for garbage dumping. Moreover, rag pickers and beggars wander in the plot. Today an unknown person allegedly burnt rubber tyre in the plot which caused the fire.

Seeing high flames coming from the plot, locals informed fire brigade.
