Short circuit caused fire in a ware house situated at Avri Mata Slum Colony last night. Four vehicles of fire brigade helped in controlling the fire. As per sources, loss of Rs.5 lac was reported due to the fire.

Puranmal Jain, owner of the Cidoba Traders informed, “It took more than one hour to control the fire which started in the early hours of Saturday. The warehouse had stock of more than 35000 sacks.”

At 4.30am, people residing near the warehouse alerted fire brigade after noticing smoke and flames coming out from the place.

As per Sunil Jain, co-owner of the warehouse, short circuit was the cause of fire and they estimated the loss of nearly Rs 5 Lac.
