No human casualties were reported and fortunately the currency notes were also found safe when an ATM booth at sector 4 caught fire. Two fire fighting vehicles responded and controlled the situation.

An ATM booth of Axis Bank at sector 5, Hiran Magri caught into flames following short circuits in electric wires. Soon the whole ATM booth was surrounded by blaze.

The fire completely damaged the ATM machine but the currency notes were found safe in the cash box.

Also there was no one inside the ATM during incident. A team of fire fighters and home guards controlled the fire in few minutes.
