Fire erupted at a small shop of eatables situated at Dhan Mandi area on Tuesday. Six fire engines responded on the spot after the information received from one of the neighbors, Harish.

The mishap occurred late Tuesday evening at a shop named under ‘Guru Kripa Namkeen.’ The fire engines rushed to the scene and controlled the fire within 30 minutes.

No loss of life was reported except few damages to the perishable items kept at the shop, informed owner Heera Lal.
