Seven people including two women and a young boy of 12 died on the spot and another 34 got injured in a road accident, which took place at Desuri ki Naal in Charbhuja, Rajsamand district.

The mishap occurred when a speeding tractor trolley carrying 41 people rolled over at a turn after the driver lost control on the vehicle – all the injured were rushed to the nearby Community Health Center, police said.

The incidence took place on Saturday evening when a number people from Desuri village of Charbhuja police station circle were returning back from a temple situated at Amet village in a tractor trolley. When they reached near Desuri ki Naal, suddenly the axle of the tractor gave away and the vehicle went out of control and rolled over.

On getting information a police team rushed to the spot and began a rescue operation. The dead bodies were shifted to the CHC of Charbhuja while the injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment.

The deceased victims were identified as Ganesh Singh (40), Bansilal driver of the tractor trolly,(30), Bhanwar Lal (25), Champa (45) and Meera while one 12 year old victim was identified as Dinesh Kumar, later at night.
