Gas Leak Causes Fire but No Injuries or Loss Reported

An unfortunate incident of a fire caused due to LPG leakage occurred at Kailash Nagar last night, on 23rd March. The fire, which happened at 10:30pm, fortunately caused no injury or loss of life or assets.

An unfortunate incident of a fire caused due to LPG leakage occurred at Kailash Nagar last night, on 23rd March.

The fire, which happened at 10:30pm, fortunately caused no injury or loss of life or assets.

The mishap took place at the house of Shankar Lalvani at Kailash Nagar, near Kalaji Goraji area, when Heena Lalvani daughter in law of Shanker was changing the LPG gas cylinder.

As she removed the cap of the cylinder to fix the Regulator, all of a sudden suddenly gas started leaking from the Cylinder and a fire started.

The family members immediately informed the Fire Brigade department and one vehicle responded on the scene with it police also reached on the spot from Surajpol police station, informed Heena  Lalvani.

The family members threw the cylinder out of the house and with the help of other people in the colony got the main supply of power from RSEB cut off, said members of the colony.

No injuries or damages to any property or assets of the house were registered.
