48-year-old Radhakishan Dangi, resident of Village Sapetia and currently posted as a Head Constable at Surajgarh Chowki ( Gogunda) died today after getting electrocuted through a high voltage electricity wire passing over his under construction house.

According to sources, Dangi took leave from work yesterday as he wanted to check the construction work going on in his house. Today morning, when Radhakishan was walking on the terrace, he accidentally touched the high tension wire passing over his house and died on the spot.

As per one of his relatives, the electric wire was previously safe as no electricity was passing through it. However a few days back, the line started again and Radhakishan was probably unaware of this and hence got in contact with the wire.

Radhakishan Dangi’s belt number was 980. He is survived by his wife and six children.
