A parked truck caught fire after a high voltage electricity wire touched the vehicle. Fortunately, no one was in the truck at the time of incident.

The mishap took place today at Savina Vegetable Market when a high voltage electricity wire fell on the truck. Immediately fire erupted due to short circuit and the truck was engulfed in flames.

The truck was owned by Best Roadlines. The owner Akbar Bhai informed that fire brigade responded and controlled the fire. He added that, electric lines in the area are loosely hanging and due to wind it will fall anytime.

The concerned department has fixed the electricity wire.
