A mentally challenged woman got killed in an accident on Wednesday morning on Ahmedabad Highway. But the post mishap incidences put humanity in shame as even in the presence of huge number of commuters on that road, the dead body wasn’t removed for hours from the spot and was run over by heavy and small vehicles one after the other.

The people on the spot remained spectators for hours and neither did they stop the vehicles from running over the deceased nor the body was shifted to a corner. As a result, the body parts scattered over the place. Moreover, the police reached at the spot almost 2 hours later.

According to the police, no one had the information about the mishap but it came to light on Wednesday morning when few villagers spotted the human body parts on the highway near Parsad village. Later, a number of commuters gathered at the place but nobody made efforts to shift the body and was smashed by the moving vehicles.

SHO Bharat Yogi informed that during the investigation of the matter it was learnt that the deceased was a mentally challenged woman who was often seen in that area.

The cops called in the sweepers who gathered all the parts and shifted them to the cremation ground of the area in a sack.
