Students of Kamla Nehru Hostel demonstrated against the mismanagement and lack of proper amenities in the hostel. Broken toilet doors, lack of drinking water, filth and odor has enraged protest.

The angry hostelites allegedly locked the hostel warden Raju Singh, building contractor and an engineer posted at MLSU in a room, the students demonstrated violently outside the hostel.

According to MLSU Student leader’s president Amit Paliwal, the students staying at Nehru Hostel are deprived of basic amenities, lack of water etc and the administration has never took care of students’ need. There are 42 students staying in the hostel  and today around 25 students protested outside the hostel..

The protest continued for more than 30 minutes, but later was controlled when The chief warden of the hostel, Prof Dariyav Singh Chundawat, who is also the Chairman of University Sports Board assured to take positive action in next few days.
