An 18 year old Hotel Management student hung himself at his rented room today afternoon. He was rushed to M.B hospital where he was declared dead.

Hemraj s/o Anil Kumar Jaat, resident of Bharatpur was a student of Hotel Management at the MLSU and was staying at Ganesh Nagar, Payda with his elder brother Praveen. Both the brothers were studying in the same stream and today both of them returned at their room after appearing in the examination and Praveen went out for some work leaving Hemraj behind.

After a few hours, when Praveen returned back he saw his brother was hanging from the roof. He immediately rushed inside the room and tried to pull him down, when a few more friends came at the scene and pulled him down. They rushed Hemraj to the hospital but could not save his life. Finally, Hemraj’s body was shifted to the Mortuary for the postmortem.

Seeing the scene Praveen also fainted and he was also given treatment for reviving him. His parents were informed about the mishap and the postmortem will be done tomorrow.

The reason for committing suicide was not clear yet and is being investigated, said the police.
