A 25-year-old housewife Lalita Vaid suffered an electric shock due to the sudden flow of current in the floor of her house. The current flow is suspected to have occurred due to a fault in the electricity supply. The incident occurred today morning at Mohti Chohta.

RSEB officials rushed to the scene and fixed the problem. However, the victim, Lalita got terribly jolted by the near fatal incident and is said to be completely out of danger, despite the injury she received after falling down.

A 1100KV line is passing through her house. According to local residents, electricity fluctuation was reported following a blast in the electricity pole. Nitin Hilora, neighbor of the victim said that a few days back, his electric appliances got damaged due to the fluctuation.
