A crash involving a school bus and a tanker on Balicha Bypass Highway left 3 students seriously injured while the rest were given first aid medical care.

Goverdhan Vilas Police informed that the school bus of Indo American School carrying around 20 students hit a stationary tanker on the side of the road at 9 AM in the morning on 24^th August. The driver, due to high speed could not control the bus and hit the tanker parked on the side of the road.

Three students namely Rudra Pratap Nagda (9), Veer Pratap Nagda (7) of Gupteshwar Colony, Sector 7 and Mohammad Azhar of Barkat Colony, Savina received serious injuries and were immediately rushed to the GBH American Hospital. The other students suffered slight bruises and were given first aid care at the nearby hospital.

The parents of all the students were contacted. Gaurav Nagda, relative of Rudra and Veer filed a complaint against the driver who fled from the scene, for negligent driving. The police took the complaint, shifted the bus to the police station and started the investigation.

The parents of the students visited the school today who were allegedly denied permission to enter the school premises and meet the administration. Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena reached and controlled the situation.
