A leopard cub died due to drowning in a pond at a Village Chawando ki Bhagal, Losing (Iswal). The body of the cub was found floating over the pond today morning.

Forest officials were informed by the local villagers and the body was shifted to Veterinary Hospital of Udaipur.

It is assumed that last night the cub tried to swim across the pond but failed and drowned. The cub was male and 1-year-old. A team of forest officials, led by Devendra Kumar Tiwari, forester rushed to spot and pulled out the body.
