A RSEB lineman, Champalal Prajapat, suffered severe burn-injuries at Kaladwas today at 1:30 PM. His condition is said to be critical right now.

The 43 year old lineman was called by the department to check the fault at a pole situated in Kaladwas. The high voltage fluctuation on the pole has caused him 90% burns. The 108 Ambulance, called by local residents, rescued the burn victim.

Prajapat has been working in RSEB from the last 23 years and is still left with 15 years of service. Prajapat, hailing from Eklingpura has four children – three girls and a boy.

Officials from RSEB refused to comment on the incident to UT.
