Livestock killed in 2 accidents

Number of livestock was killed in two different road accidents near Udaipur last night. In one of the mishaps, a truck carrying cows over turned at Mayda Valley which caused death of 18 cows. Angered over the incident, villagers burnt the truck.

 

Number of livestock was killed in two different road accidents near Udaipur last night. In one of the mishaps, a truck carrying cows over turned at Mayda Valley which caused death of 18 cows. Angered over the incident, villagers burnt the truck.

Police team from Lasadia Police Station controlled the situation.

In another similar mishap, a speeding truck smashed flock of sheep, killing 50 sheep on the spot. The incident took place near Kaya Village today when the sheep were taken to jungle. The owner, Peera Ram of Sirohi lodged report against unknown truck driver.

In both cases, the accused drivers fled away from the scene. Police has seized one truck from the accident spot.
