A mentally challenged woman was found in mysterious circumstances at the Shamshan Ghat (Hindu Cemetery) of Savina area on Sunday afternoon.

Locals of the area immediately informed police in suspicion of the victim who was looking pregnant might get sexually abused by unknown person.

Chagan Purohit, SHO, Hiran Magri Police Station with his team rushed to the scene and took the victim for medical check-up which revealed that the woman was mentally challenged and pregnant but there are no signs of any physical or sexual abuse. The victim woman was also identified as a resident of Ambamata Area.
