It was a distressing situation at Balicha last night when a highly inflammable LPG Tanker turned over following a head-on collision with a truck coming from the opposite side. The traffic on the highway affected for more than an hour until the debris were removed from the road. Nobody was injured in the incident.

According to police a LPG Tanker was coming towards Udaipur crashed head on with a truck approaching from the opposite direction, the mishap took place at Balicha circle. The collision was so stern that the rear body of tanker got detached from the driver cabin and rolled over.

The container was loaded with LPG which turned the situation severe. Three vehicles of fire brigade responded to the scene to tackle any situation, the debris of vehicles were removed from crane. The traffic on the highway was halted throughout the rescue operation.

Driver of the tanker fled away immediately after the incident and a report is lodged against him for driving negligently.
