A 60 year old woman died and a man got severely injured on Monday when speeding LPG Tanker got rolled over at Sakroda village after the driver lost control of it. Soon a huge number of police team , fire engines and administrative officers rushed to the scene.

The scene occurred at around 12 o’clock when a speeding LPG tanker heading towards Sakroda Gas Plant suddenly went out of control at Sakroda Bawdi area of the village and grabbed an old woman sitting on the road side. The diver of the tanker fled away leaving the spotter ( helper) of the tanker and the old woman injured on the spot.

Soon a number of villagers gathered on the spot after witnessing the incidence and started the rescue operation. A huge number of policemen and rescue team of the Gas Station also rushed to the scene to initiate a rescue operation, said eye witnesses.

The victim woman who was identified as Deobai of Sakroda and the spotter Chaman of Darbhanga,Bihar were sent to M.B hospital in an ambulance where Deobhai succumbed to her injuries, said Kishan son of deceased woman.

Seeing the sensitivity of the matter Deputy SP east zone Udaipur, Deputy SP Valabhnagar and SHOs of various police stations rushed to the scene. Later 2 fire engines and a crane were also called at the spot for help and the road was barricaded for few hours.
