Man became victim of phone scam
Surajpol Police has lodged a complaint against an unknown person for cheating the victim by withdrawing Rs.8800 from his bank account.

The victim Kunal Khaturia, resident of Kailash Colony has informed police that, he received a call from the suspected person who introduced himself as an official of Aadhar Card department. The suspect asked details like PAN number, bank account number and other vital information from the victim.
As believing him authentic, the victim gave all his information. After few hours of the conversation, Kunal received message on his phone regarding withdrawal of Rs.8800 from his two bank accounts at PNB and ICICI Banks.
Kunal verified the transaction from bank, and immediately informed police about the incident.
