Body of a 25-year-old man was found floating over Badi Talai, a small pond located at Village Badi, around 8 km from Udaipur. The deceased was identified as Ramesh Gameti, a laborer and resident of Badi.

Ramesh was missing for last few days but no police complaint was lodged by his family as they thought he might be too far to visit his home.

Today, local residents of the village saw a body floating on the pond and informed the police. Later, the deceased was identified by his relatives.

According to the police, prima facie it looks like an accident as no evidence of murder or suicide was found nor did the victim’s family lodged any complaint.
