A 35-year-old woman resident of Dhan Mandi area committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at her house on Wednesday evening of 9th Dec. Parents of the deceased woman alleged her husband for having extra martial affairs and forced her to commit suicide.

The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary and the investigation of the matter has been started.

The woman was mother of 2 kids and originally belongs to Badi Sadri but was staying in Udaipur since last few years. On Wednesday the victim woman was rushed to the MB hospital by her neighbours and relatives after she consumed poisonous susbstance, but she died during the treatment. According to the brother of the deceased, his sister was forced by her husband to commit suicide. A complaint was also lodged against the husband by his brother in law.

Brother of woman alleged that the accused is having relations with other woman and when ever his sister objected on that he use to beat her, following that she was staying under mental pressure and ultimately committed suicide.

A case has been lodged against the accused and investigation is still going on, told police.
