A married woman from Jagdish Chowk died on 4^th Dec after presumably consuming poisonous substance. The deceased woman was currently staying at her maternal house at Housing Board colony sector-14.

After marrying just 10 months back, the woman had momentarily separated with her husband due to some conflict between the couple.

Police informed that, both families sorted out the issue between husband and wife and yesterday on 4^th Dec, husband of the victim came to take her back. While going back, the woman fainted on the road. Her husband immediately rushed her to hospital but she was declared dead by the medical staff.

According to a police official, Prima facie it was considered that the woman might have consumed a poisonous substance with an intention to commit suicide but the investigation still continues.
