90 percent of the stock containing tons of sack has been gutted in the last night massive fire at a godown located in Savina. The fire which broke out at 10:30pm of Sunday night continued till today afternoon.

8 vehicles of fire brigade had to refill more than 70 times in more than 12 hours to control the fire that cost loss of lacs.
Bhanwar Lal Jain, owner of the Ware house informed UT that he and his brother Moti Lal Jain are running the business of sacks from last 26 years and other two brothers are running a shop of utensils at mandi-Ki-naal area.
The reason of this major fire outbreak is still unknown, but according to the owners it could be due to short circuit or fire crackers.
20 people used to work in the godown; last night the watchman of the godown informed the owners about the sudden mishap. Bhagwati lal informed that once before their godown was destroyed due to flood.
