A 37-year-old man committed suicide by jumping in front of a train. The deceased was later identified as Bhagwatilal Joshi, resident of Subhash Nagar. The mishap took place today evening at railway track, Seva Ashram.

According to GRPF personnel, at around 6pm it was informed that a man jumped in front of Udaipur-Delhi bound Chetak Express. The train halted till security personnel responded at the scene. A witness identified as Devendra, saw Bhagwatilal jumping in front of train. Bhagwatilal died instantly due to grave multiple injuries; the body is shifted to mortuary.

According to sources, the victim was auto rickshaw driver and undergoing mental imbalance from last few years, today he went out of house for a walk.

Bhopalpura police reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary.
