A minor couple of Udaipur tried committing suicide by diving in Goverdhan Sagar Lake last Sunday. Both of them were noticed by some passerby and rescued.

Soon the police was informed from the spot and the couple was handed over to the police. Both of them were booked for attempting suicide.

Police informed that, the minor couple hails from Surajpol area and were known to each other. Both of them came to Goverdhan Sagar Lake that evening and were talking about committing suicide. Few people heard their conversation and informed others of the same.

As soon as they jumped in the lake, people immediately rescued them and handed them to the police.

Relatives of both the minors were called by the police and they were sent to their homes but a case has been registered against both the minors for attempting suicide.
