A large part of the roof shed over the Badminton Hall Building situated at MLSU collapsed yesterday. A student was injured in the disaster while two motorbikes parked under the shed were damaged.

According to sources, the building is said to have been constructed 30-40 years ago. The moderate rainfall observed yesterday in the city was the cause of the sudden collapse of the cemented roof shed.

No official statement has been obtained from the authorities yet on the subject.
