In a gross hit and run case, an unidentified vehicle knocked down two people on motorcycle and fled away. One of the persons died while another received minor injuries in the mishap that took place near Jhadol Village last night.

The deceased, 28-year-old Dinesh Kumar Damor succumbed to his injuries today during treatment at MB Hospital.

According to police Dinesh, salesman from Kherwada, was returning back to his house with his brother Vinod Kumar on motorcycle when an unknown vehicle hit them from behind and fled away. Dinesh was rushed to the hospital with severe wounds while his brother Vinod was minutely injured.

Nai Police Station has lodged the report and started investigation.
