In a freak incident, a moving car caught fire at RK Circle, Pula today due to short circuit in wiring. The driver of the car escaped unhurt and the flames were controlled by fire fighters.

The incident could have been fatal as a petrol station was situated just few meters away from the spot.

According to information provided by sources, the fire erupted in the Maruti van owned by R.K Gupta resident of Sukher. As soon as Gupta realized the car caught fire, he immediately rushed out of it and informed fire brigade.

It is highly assumed that the fire was caught due to short circuit in internal wiring of the vehicle. The car was completely charred by flames.
