In an heart-shaking incident that occurred today afternoon at Fatehpura area, a 4 -5 days old baby girl was found lying unattended on the roadside. The baby was transferred to pediatric ward of MB Hospital by Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Udaipur.

According to sources, the baby was found wrapped in a cloth at Adinath Nagar, old Fateh Pura today afternoon. Local residents informed police and CWC officials who took the baby in their protection and admitted her to MB hospital.

The baby was looking weak and needed medical attention.

A case has been lodged against unidentified parents for negligence.
