A 30 year old man was found hanging from the ceiling of his room at his rented residence in Khempura. The landlord saw him hanging and immediately informed the police, and lifted the body to the ground.

The police shifted the body to the mortuary at MB Hospital, where the postmortem was performed today.

Police informed that the deceased, Shambhu Singh, who was working as a Labor, used to be a night shift employee. When Shambhu did not leave his room that night, the land lord went to inquire his well being. They locked on his door but when he did not respond for a while, they tried to see in through the window, and saw the body hanging from the ceiling.

The reason of the suicide is still under investigation, while the body has been handed over to the family members.
