A 19-year-old nursing student committed suicide last night by hanging herself from the railing installed at the terrace of her house at Paneriyon ki Madri.

The family of the deceased girl came to know about the mishap today morning when the neighbors saw the girl hanging and informed them about the incident.

The victim girl was a student of first year of nursing institute and was staying at Panerio Ki Madri with her brother and his wife from last one year.

The victim and her elder sister used to stay in a room and last night both studied together and went to sleep.

Brother of the victim lodged police report and appealed for investigation.
