A man and a woman were found lying on the road at Mahendra Bavri, near Kaya Village. A Bike, presumed to be the one they ridinG on, was lying in a damaged condition, just near their bodies.

While the man was dead, the woman who was still alive but seriously wounded was immediately shifted to M.B. Hospital for treatment.

The identity of the two is still not known since one person is dead and the other is unconscious.

It is assumed that the bike, on which the duo were riding, had slipped on the slippery road, causing the fatal accident.

The body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary while the Police is trying to contact their relatives on the basis of the vehicle registration. That the two are a married couple also cannot be ascertained.
