A motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries, after being hit by a truck; the accident took place today morning at around 8:45am at Pula Bridge, near Fatehpura. The victim died during treatment in the hospital, while the truck driver fled.

Bhanwarlal Gameti, 35, a construction laborer and resident of Dhar village (Nai) was on his way towards town when a truck coming from behind knocked him down. Bhanwarlal suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.

The truck driver abandoned the truck on the scene and fled. Upon receiving the information, Police responded at the accident spot and seized the truck.
