One person died while other was injured today morning, in a mishap when a train hit the duo who was walking on the railway tracks at Kumharo ka Bhatta near Sevashram.

The deceased was identified as Lacchi Ram Banjara from the reference of Kissan Bahi (Log Book of Farmers), resident of Menpuri, UP while other is unidentified. Both the victims had hearing disabilities, as per DySP Goverdhan Lal.

The train was coming from Bandra, Mumbai to Udaipur when the mishap occurred near Sevashram.

Hiran Magri police rushed to the spot upon information and sent the victims to the MB Hospital. Lacchi Ram was killed on the spot and was shifted to mortuary whereas the injured man was admitted to ward 16.

Relatives of Lacchi Ram were informed by the police with the help of paper found in his pocket which had contact numbers written over it.
