Two people on motorcycle hit by a car left one dead and another seriously injured. The accident took place today at Village Kavita of Udaipur district. Police has seized the car, while the driver managed to escape from the accident spot.

The deceased Bhanwarlal Khatik (55) resident of Thur was going with his relative Bhagga on motorcycle from Thur to Dangiyon ka Guda, while crossing the road at Kavita Village; a fast moving Innova car hit the motorcycle killing Bhanwarlal on the spot, while Bhagga received injuries.

According to police, the driver of car escaped from the scene leaving the car near the spot. Police has taken the car in custody and started investigation.

Bhanwarlal was a cattle dealer and lived in Thur Village. Victim’s body was handed over to relatives after postmortem.
