Out of 5 policemen who got injured in the accident that took place at Village Saira, four were brought to Udaipur MB Hospital last night for their injuries, while another was admitted in Saira hospital and one policeman was pronounced dead on the spot.

The accident took place when all 6 police officials posted with Mandana Police Station were going to Saira to arrest a wanted accused.

Deceased Jagru Gurjar (constable) died on the spot, while his colleagues Mushtaq (head constable), Sampat, Vikram Singh and Pannaram Garasia received multiple injuries, after their jeep accidently fall down a hole near road.

Few passersby informed police, after noticing the policemen lying injured with their vehicle.
