Bhawani Shankar Menaria serving as a Wire Man at Unit 4 of Pyrotech died on the spot after being hit by a truck troller today afternoon at Madri Industrial Area Road No.1.

The accident occurred when Bhawani was returning back to his house at Sector-8 Hiran Magri, from his office around 1.30 pm.  The impact of the accident was so strong that the victim died on the spot.  The local people of the area informed the police about the incident and the police came into action after getting the information.

The vehicle was seized and taken to the Pratap Nagar Police station, whereas the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary, as per police.

Kamla Shankar Menaria, a co-worker of Bhavani Shankar informed the police that Bhavani Shankar and he left their unit at Madri and were going towards Eklingpura on their respective bikes.  Bhavani was driving ahead of Kamla, when suddenly a troller coming from Eklingpura side hit Bahvani Shanker’s bike and the driver fled away leaving the vehicle on the spot.
