Resident Doctors form New Executive Committee, decides to continue strike
The present executive committee of Resident Doctors Association was dissolved and the new committee was formed after the decision of ending the ongoing strike was not accepted by the resident doctors.

Dr. Kaptan Singh was removed from the post of president soon after he announced to end the strike.
Resident doctors are on strike since 29th January after one of the doctors was slapped by a patient’s attendant. Soon after the incident, doctors called for strike and demanded to arrest the accused.
Today, the former president Kaptan Singh and other members of committee decided to end the strike after meeting senior administrative officers who assured them to arrest the accused.
According to sources, many resident doctors felt the decision of ending the strike unacceptable and decided to dissolve the executive committee.
Dr. Rakesh Gurjar while speaking on the issue said that, even after providing cctv footage and vehicle number of the accused, police could not arrest them.
He added, “We are getting support from our associations in Kota, Ajmer, Jaipur and Bikaner too. Hence we will not end the strike till the accused is not arrested”.
Soon after the decision of forming new committee, resident doctors went to the office of Dr. Chandra Mathur, principal R.N.T Medical College and presented ‘No Confidence Motion’ on the current executive committee.
According to the information, Dr. Narendra Soran was appointed as the new president of the Resident Doctor’s Association, whereas Dr. Rakesh Gurjar is selected as Vice President, Dr.Sandeep Dungla and Dr. Nitin Bhakal are appointed as general Secretary, Dr Abhisehk Mohan and Dr. Sanjay Goyal are selected as the Spokes person and Dr. Kapil Sharma, Dr. Suarabh Pandey, Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Dr. Lakhpat Singh Meena, Dr.Chiranjeet Vishvaas and Dr. Kapil are selected as secretary of the association.
