Nearly 300 resident doctors of MB Hospital are on strike since Friday night to support the resident doctors of Jodhpur. The statewise protest by resident doctors started when a doctor was allegedly assaulted at Jodhpur Hospital.

The strike continued today and the senior doctors took over the situation and provided services at the emergency wing as well as the OPD of the MB hospital.

Dr D.P Singh, Principal of RNT Medical College said that the senior doctors has taken the charge of the hospital and working round the clock, but in such a situation the doctors can only do emergency operation but not getting the time for regular scheduled operation which is somewhere effecting the patients coming to the hospital and a long queue of patients can be seen outside the OPD.

The resident doctors have decided to break the strike only after legal action will be taken and the accused get arrested.
