A 62-year-old man died on the spot after being hit by a speeding tractor today. The road accident took place near Bansi Pan Shop, Bhopal Pura.

The victim Suresh Harkawat, resident of Bhopalpura was going towards Hazareshwar Colony on his scooter. When he reached at Bansi Pan Shop, near District Collector’s Bungalow, a fast moving tractor hit Harkawat and overran him. Due to severe injuries, Harkawat died on the spot.

Tractor driver fled away leaving the tractor few meters far from the accident spot.

Residents of the area informed police and relatives of the victim. The body was shifted to mortuary and the case is registered against unknown tractor driver.
