A stock of Ratanjot seeds worth Rs.15 Lac gutted in fire at a shop in Krishi Mandi last night. Three vehicles of fire brigade rushed to the scene and controlled the fire.

The stock was lying outside shop no. 73 of Chandra Parikh, owner of Ms. Shah Dhanraj Magan Kothari. According to Parikh, who was not there at the time of incident, someone had burnt garbage near his shop, due to which the sacks of ratanjot seeds caught fire.

Parikh alleges negligence on the part of Mandi Administration.
