An 11-year-old school boy died instantly after getting overrun by a truck-trailer at Bhuwana bypass, today early afternoon. The truck driver was caught by the people present on the spot, but later he fled taking the advantage of public chaos.

Madan Gameti (11), resident of Dev Magri, Bhuwana was returning to his home from government school on bicycle, while crossing the road, Madan fell off due to imbalance, as soon as he fell on ground, a truck-trailer coming from Nathdwara side ran over the child, killing him on-the-spot.

People present on the accident site, got hold of the driver who was identified as Dev Karan Gurjar from Dudu. However, due to large number of people gathered there, the driver managed to flee from the place.

Police has seized the trailer and searching for the absconding driver. The father of the victim is a daily wage laborer.
